This is a great little French Cafe located in the heart of Kingston upon Thames. My wife, Dad, and I visited here while on vacation in London.
It was raining outside so we decided to come here to get out of the rain. During our visit we did not try the pastries or cakes, but I can say that the drinks were delicious.
I ordered the cappuccino which was good. Overall the experience at this cafe was pleasant. -

I've been there recently. Stale pastries are a major turn off.
Toilet messy. -

We actually went to the Valerie at Sutton high Street but I could not find it on Qype so decided to post in here anyway.
It was the best experience ever!!! Everything from customer service to tasty/delicious cakes was perfect! Very friendly and helpfull staff. And their cakes.. Yummmm what can I say? I'm still dreaming of it!!! -

Beautiful looking and tasty, but recently over the last couple of months I have found the pastries stale, doughnuts especially.
Surely at the prices we should be eating pastries a few hours old, not days. Obviously as they are growing, delivery lines are becoming stretched, and ,maybe where there were 2 deliveries before or a shorter distance from bakery to shop, this can't be happening I don't buy in the afternoon anymore, because it's the same stuff that's been sitting unprotected in the window for the 6 hours they've already been open.
Shame. -

Sure, the cakes look AMAZING. The cafe is based perfectly just by the town centre, but the prices are EXTREME! A cup of tea with a snazzy biscuit is about £2.50 and myself, as an Almond Croissant connoisseur, was so cold and paste-less that I would have preffered to have eaten a custard cream. And for about £2.50 a croissant, its expensive too! Why did I give a 2 then? Why didn't I give it a one. Simple! The cakes are amazingly good looking!
